New resource: Middle East Online

The library now subscribes to Middle East International online. Founded in London in 1971, the magazine briefly ceased publication in 2005 before being relaunched online in 2009. It includes news analysis, features, opinion pieces, and book reviews related to the core issues of the region, from “Mauritius to Afghanistan.” (For more details, see the About pages.)

MEI is not able to handle McGill’s usual method of subscription access (i.e., automatic authentication by IP address), so readers will need to enter a user name and password. The log-in information will be available in the library catalogue in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, please contact me for the user name and password.
