2011 CRL purchases

Based on votes by member institutions, the Center for Research Libraries will purchase nine new microform collections, including:

  • the Israeli newspaper ha-Arets
  • Popular Literature, Fiction, and Songs in Imperial Russia
  • China and the West: The Maritime Customs Service Archive from the Second Historical Archives of China Nanjing
  • L’Aube (Paris, 1932-June 1940, Aug 1944-Oct 1951).

McGill graduate students and faculty members are entitled to borrow materials on a long-term basis from CRL, a consortium of North American research libraries that acquires and provides access to diverse collections of newspapers, microforms, journals and dissertations, as well as significant collections of digital and digitized materials, mostly in the humanities and social sciences.
