Teaching resources, news, and links to keep McGill’s Political Scientists informed

Islamic Studies links

Posted by Megan on January 22, 2010

The newest librarian at McGill’s Islamic Studies Library, Sean Swanick, has created a webpage with links related to Islamic Studies: http://www.mcgill.ca/library/library-findinfo/subjects/humanities/islamic/. The resources primarily focus on history, literature, and language.

The library also has a guide to resources related to Middle Eastern politics: http://www.mcgill.ca/library/library-findinfo/subjects/humanities/mideast/.

In addition, Sean maintains a blog that acts as a portal for Middle East, Central Asia and Islamic materials: http://maktabahsharq.blogspot.com/. He posts articles on various topics from open access websites, journals, and newspapers as well as maintaining extensive lists of links.

Suggestions for these pages are always welcome!
