A Series of Micro-Webcasts for Researchers

The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) is conducting a series of case studies, funded by the National Science Foundation, to examine the longevity of digital resources. To obtain scholarly input on these studies, CRL is hosting a series of brief (22.5 minute) online forums for researchers in the fields of history, social sciences, and chemistry. These micro-webcasts are free and open to interested researchers and scholars. The forums will focus on three major types of research materials: electronic news, social science data, and chemical information:

The Historical Record in the Post-Newspaper Age
• Monday, October 5, 2:00 pm
• Tuesday, October 6, 10:00 am
• Wednesday, October 7, 12:00 Noon

Political Science, Sociology, and Economics

• Monday, November 9, 2:00 pm
• Tuesday, November 10, 10:00 am
• Wednesday, November 11, 12:00 Noon

• Monday, December 7, 2:00 pm
• Tuesday, December 8, 10:00 am
• Wednesday, December 9, 12:00 Noon
